1. What does it take to get started?
It is very easy to get started. First, you will need to have a computer, printer, fax and high speed internet.
Second, contact us and we will send a welcome package to you. In this package you will find an application, contract, guidelines, required documents, information on AHL's procedures, and details of our fees.

2. How long does the sign up process take?
Once we receive the application and any required documents back from you, we can have you up and running the next day.

3. What are the fees to get started?
$0.

4. How do I get paid?

AHL disburses funds every Wednesday and Friday at 3:00 pm. We just need to receive your loan package, HUD1 and check from title by Monday at 1:00 p.m. to be included in Wednesday disbursements, or Wednesday at 1:00 pm to be included in Friday disbursements.

5. Will I be paid as a 1099 or W-2'd employee?

Everyone in California is currently paid on a 1099 basis. (Some states may require a W-2 payment status.)

6. What if I prefer to work from home?

No problem! We have options for you to work from home, a professional office location, or set up your own Branch in AHL's name or your own DBA.

7. Can I use a DBA?
Yes!

8. Can I use my own processor?
Yes, we also have an exceptional processing division at your service.

9. Who takes care of quality control?
AHL will quality control every file that is received. We also keep you informed of all compliance updates.

10. What states can I currently originate loans in?

We are licensed in California currently. We will be adding other states in the near future, we will keep you informed.

11. Are there certain fees we have to charge on the GFE/HUD1?
No, you set your own fees as long as they are not considered predatory lending. AHL has a $495.00 admin fee per loan which you can pass on to the borrower or you can have it taken out of your commissions, its up to you.

12. How do I pull credit reports?

After you are approved with AHL, we will provide you with the necessary documents to acquire an account with Credit Plus.

13. Will I receive a company email address?
Yes, this email address with be forwarded to your current email address, or you can change your email address. You can also use your own.

14. What lenders do we have access to?
We currently have an extensive lender list, and if there is a lender that you will need to add that we are not currently approved with, just provide us with the lenders representatives contact info and we will process it for you a.s.a.p.

15. Can I use any lender I want?
Yes.

16. Can I originate commercial loans?

Yes.
